Product Description

Carbopol® 980 is a high-performance synthetic polymer widely used as a thickening, gelling, stabilizing, and suspending agent in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and personal care formulations. It is supplied as a white, fluffy, free-flowing powder that rapidly hydrates and swells in water.

When neutralized with suitable alkalis (such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, or triethanolamine), Carbopol 980 forms clear to slightly hazy, high-viscosity gels with excellent stability and smooth sensory feel.
